The Movie 'Arjun Reddy' and the Living Characters

I'm not a regular writer nor a reviewer to put my creative skills in this form, these words are in heart for long time since 2017, ASAP I couldnot pen it up, I felt Arjun Reddy (AR) is not a film which can be analsyised as soon as you watch it, it really needs a maturity enough to understand those lines.

Atleast tin my Masters final semester project , I picked up a topic "The most influencing film in decade" one of those was "Arjun Reddy" in 2019.

I was so impressed by this character and it's attitude,the way he was confident on his subject, oath in convocation, his passion drives on Enfield, the way he express to preeti while she gets hurt in leg , but instinct change in behavior calling her 'Chinna Pilla ra' with Rahul.. it shows that he don't want to show his love on her in words but in actions alike fathers do..
Bollywood showered so many controversy on slapping scene.. I don't think that's really needed to do so.. where were those feminists hiding when cleavages scenes , intimate scenes were portrayed???
I haven't scene Arjun describing her Shapes in songs, neither the female role Preeti showed up in cat walk!
A committed couple don't try to impress other than their love.. AR plays in Grandmother's favourite song on her funeral shows the Grandmother & Grandson bond,this questions Z generation , how many people know our Grandparents favourite song, actor? AR reacts to a man who called 'Body' to his grandmother shows his respect to soul.

Preeti _
A chubby girl unlike other actors in any film industry. A bookworm,from orthodox family, teenager, who rarely came across boys was actually impressed by first sight when AR attitude in her classroom, when teacher gives him as a classic example of doctor being an angry man and
AR, clarifies " I’m not a rebel without a cause sir. Nor a murderer with a hand blade. This is ME!" And shows up his Love for college unity.
Being from Orthodox family Preeti encountered with someone totally opposite to her, she was deeply impressed . Only fallen in love with AR when he took her so much of care while she was hurt by pieces of broken bottle in her hostel & when he bowed down to Amit garranting of her security in his absence after Festival Holi incident.
AR was never looking after a girl of some particular features, it just happened with a flow, thats the reason he never described by one feature, because describing any physical feature (example-eyes) may lead to loosing in old age, but the Breathe is always the bridge between life & death which connects him with her.
AR to Preeti ,when she questions him whats he likes in her, -"Nu oopiri theesukune vidhanam naakishtam. I Love The Way You Breathe!"
Simple Example- When a soul is in a body, He/she is only finite till that body. But when the soul leaves the body it turns into infinity.


Jiya-
People put up questions what about Jiya role, if AR was really in love with Preeti,Why would he show interest into Jiya's life???
Non living being coin has two sides. How many shades would a A talking, intelligent human would have?
According to his role, it was his body need, not the heart,this was shown when car scene was projected,this shows the level of commitment with his love when Jiya expresses her love for AR and also with other Ladies who used to visit home.

Brother-
The scene where his brother comes home, highest level of words were used to express his anger and sip of alcohol shows their bond..Two extreme edged scenes in one blood called brothers.

Grandmother
His grandmaa passes away, the way her strong believe, her education in Delhi shows her rich educational background, against caste, she believes in her self, her decision making skills, her interest in music which Ghar was purely projected inAR plays in her funeral shows the Grandmother & Grandson bond.AR reacts to a man who called 'Body' to his grandmother shows his respect to soul.
AR scene with his dad-Three stages of life -Birth-Love-Death. AR character must have gone through Bhagvatgeeta too which must be the influence of elderly people (Grandma) in home.Seeking their blessings, recording their oral records in mind, implementing those statements (sidhantas) which is not quite common now a days because we see lots of old aged people are necked out of their homes and dumped in Old age homes. I could see her attitude as a queen of their house,she was strict enough to kerp their family personal issues inside those four walls shows their strong roots are tightly tied to each other.
"Suffering is very personal, Let them Suffer"was this line enough to show her level of thoughts which are in form genes to third generation?!!

..I felt AR character must have gone through Bhagvatgeeta too which must be the influence of elderly people (Grandma) in home.

Father-
"Oka Vishayam Cheptha Gurthu Pettuko Life lo Ye Subject Ayna Deep Ga Velthe Migiledhi Zero
Me thammudu eppudu ah zero ki chaala deggarlo unaadu."
His education background wasn't portrayed but still one can analyze by this .

Mother
Mother yells at him for not being part in family photo shows up that she is a materialistic person who thinks until family reputation in society.
This character is quite common in all our lives where mother is meant to be the ambassador of family reputation in society.

Friend-
Shiva, a Egoless best friend who was in AR's life. Shiva character is ultimate synonym of Best Friend who was in loyal to him in all sorts of AR ups & downs.He was not a friend who would talk behind your back which is quite common for now a days friend'ship' (which sinks a lot more than voyages).He was the one who tried to do all sorts of encouragement to AR ,boost him up while he cries for Preeti on road. I felt Rahul Ramakrishna was one of those versatile actor who built a rapo to with Vijay Sai Devarkonda.

"Neetho emannadu ra? Manchollaki eppudu manche jaruguthadi annada? Naatho Manchollake ra ee kashtalanni annadu!"
This is in the reality , when a friend has a complete freedom to access your phone , knows your password too.
After AR tries to express his pain in form of menustrual pain, which shows his profession's influence on his word and comparison.
"Aadollaki periods ochinappudu vallani etla treat chestharo, Ninnu kuda atla treat cheyali antav. Vallaki nela ki Nalugu rojulosthadi, kani neekaithe nelavari untadhi. Anthe kadha."
After this scene AR is not only a good doctor, he can be good writer too.. i could sense that creative shaityam shades.. & coming to Shiva, he wasn't brilliant enough to understand his friend's 'in between the lines' thoughts but he was ready to face anything equally with his friend.


This is all my perception on Arjun Reddy (AR) which may touch someone's feelings, which may hurt someone's feelings, But AR, the fact has to be accepted.
One can see the art on my hand , the influence these  characters done on me in my words & one simple  art form of AR too.
